Snowdrop unfurls
Virgin glory,
resplendent,
among brambles of anguish with their thorns of sorrow,
Must my life blood decorate these barleys,
nourish their roots.
Before I can cherish the solitary stem of completion,
Laughter and happiness dissipate the weeds
of depression
that clutch at my feet and scar my heart,
Will I savor the flower of fulfillment.
